It's not on my Linkedin

I was born and raised in a really - really - small town where there is not even a single advertising agency. And there's no McDonald's either. I remember the day I told my mom that the BigMac was the best sandwich and I'd never tried one before, but I'd seen it on TV, so I believed that. Cut. Years and years after, besides all the odds, I became an advertiser. That means two things: 1- I'm a pain in the neck when I want something. 2- I grew up believing in the power of ideas. Combining 1 and 2, there's a third thing: I do believe ideas can change the world.

Being obstinate and a believer led me to some awarded ideas that I'm really proud of. But remember the third thing above? Yeah, that's what drives me now. I lead a social project in Brazil to give opportunity, visibility and bring young talents from socially vulnerable outskirts closer to the advertising market. The project - PerifaLions - has already connected more than 200 students with big names in leading agencies which resulted in dozens of scholarships, mentorships and hirings, in less than a year.

And this is the fourth thing I found out: the beauty of creativity is in diversity and the best ideas come from different points of view. So, if you are still here with me, it's because these four things make sense to you, right? If you do believe advertising can change lives (in many ways), then we can get along :)
